Musical Theatre Classes
The Conservatory provides a full spectrum of classes and performances for youth. The offerings are based on skill development through singing, acting, movement, dance and group collaboration, providing a life-long enjoyment of musical theatre.
Musical Adventures in Drama
Welcome to the world of musical theatre. This class introduces students to the world of song, dance and dramas providing a great beginning to our youth musical theatre program with age-appropiate music, creative movement and theatre games.

Broadway Discoveries
Discover the art of acting through fables, stories, improvisation, and theatre games, as well as song preparation and stage movement. The first 16-week session ends in an informal in-class performance. The year culminates in a fully-staged production.

Broadway Bound
Join this skill-based musical theatre program focusing on vocal, dramatic, and dance performance. Theatre games develop acting talents, group vocal coaching enhances singing, and basic choreography is introduced. The first 16-week session ends with an informal in-class performance. The year culminates in a fully-staged production.

Ensemble Only!
This musical theatre class is geared toward the more advanced musical theatre student. Performers work on scene study as well as solo and ensemble numbers from Broadway musicals. The semester culminates in a fully-staged production with Broadway musical theatre scenes.

Community Holiday Musical

The Spirit Society

The Conservatory’s annual tuition-free one-act holiday community musical comedy, supported by donors, has been a beloved institution and effective theater arts program for ages 8 and up. Over 25 years, it has featured 1,500 performers and crew, entertaining over 20,000 audience
This production fosters artistry at all ages and helps individuals realize their full potential. It allows area youth to participate in a premier community event each Christmas, regardless of financial situation or disability.
Auditionees are required to sing a song of their choice to showcase their abilities. The community holiday musical also welcomes participants ages 10 and up for the backstage tech production team. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings/afternoons.
