Whether you’re looking to refine your songwriting, composition, arranging, lyric writing, or music theory abilities, our programs are customized to suit your interests.
Private Lessons
Concordia Conservatory offers private lessons in songwriting, composition, arranging, lyric writing, and music theory for students of all ages. Enrollment is open to those with at least two years of instrumental experience. First-time students must interview with the Executive Director before enrolling.
Our Songwriting & Composition students have gone on to participate in prestigious summer programs, become music majors at top music schools worldwide, and win national awards.
Music theory is crucial for both creators and performers. A deeper understanding of musical structures enhances composers’ skills and performers’ sensitivity. Our private music theory lessons cover music notation, ear training, rhythm, intervals, scales, modes, music analysis, and improvisation.
