Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera" was an iconic musical that left a significant impact on Broadway over the past 35 years. It debuted on January 26, 1988, and captivated audiences with its enchanting story and memorable music.

Conservatory voice faculty Christian Sebek and Julie Schmidt had an incredible experience as former cast members attending the last performance of the show. The musical's remarkable run of 13,981 performances at the Majestic Theatre became an historic milestone in Broadway history. 

"Phantom of the Opera" has undoubtedly made an unforgettable impact on the world of musical theatre, and it's wonderful that both Christian and Julie were able to be a part of its historic conclusion.
