Concordia Conservatory Announces New Partnership with ECAP to Provide Summer Music Instruction in Tuckahoe

Concordia Conservatory announces a new Summer Ukulele and Guitar Camp at the Eastchester Community Action Partnership (ECAP).

The program, for enrolled elementary and middle school campers, will run from July 26 – August 6, 2021, is led by long-time Conservatory faculty John Chang, assisted by camp counselor and Tuckahoe resident Nick Lombardi, and is funded by a private donation.

The Conservatory plans to establish a long-term music outreach program with ECAP throughout the calendar year with weekly private music lessons provided at their “home” and available to ECAP afterschool program participants.

Concordia Conservatory is also working to continue and expand their weekly music therapy to the Tuckahoe Public School District in the 2021-22 academic year. The Conservatory began offering weekly music therapy to The William E. Cottle School special education students during the 2020-21 academic year.
