Chamber Music
Chamber music provides students of all ages with the opportunity to enhance their performance skills and expand their musical insight and awareness through coaching sessions. The Chamber Music Program is open to instrumental and vocal students of all ages and abilities, as long as they have had at least one full year of private instruction. Department head Annette Espada creates groups based on skill level and instrumentation and a faculty coach guides and facilitates each rehearsal. Chamber music is open to those who study privately at the Conservatory as well as those who study with teachers outside of the Conservatory. Coachings (8 sessions per semester) are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays, though exceptions are made when needed. The spring semester program culminates in the annual Conservatory Chamber Music Festival Student Showcase concerts in early May 2012. 8 coachings or year-long
